Hibernation

I get why animals do it.

Besides all the biological and evolutionary reasons for hibernating, I think I understand the social and emotional need for hibernation.

After months, weeks, and days of interacting with people, I find myself needing space, needing some time to myself. Right now, any obligation to hang out with someone is overwhelming.

I’m completely burnt. I’ve been trying to finish this blog post for a week and a half because I can’t seem to spit out enough attention and effort to last more than a couple minutes.

xx
